Meet Carla

Hi there! I am a Redondo Beach-based private yoga instructor, fitness coach, and advocate for finding balance on and off my mat.

I’ve been teaching others since 2012, and I’ve been on a consistent fitness journey since 2016 – teaching & fitness are my two longest-standing passions! In my classes, I emphasize learning and building strength alongside flexibility/mobility work and creative sequencing.

I also battle anxiety. Who doesn’t these days? So, I infuse my classes with my favorite mindfulness & relaxation techinques to create a well-rounded experience from start to finish. I am passionate about creating an experience that strikes a perfect balance between challenge & relaxation so that you can walk away feeling confident, clearheaded, and rejuvenated.

I specialize in various styles of yoga (Vinyasa, Power, Sculpt, Gentle), breathwork/meditation, and fitness modalities (weight lifting, running, swimming, surfing, slackline).

Allow me to be your guide, coach, cheerleader, and friend, as I help you navigate your current state and transform it into something great.

I will guide your yoga practice with precise, anatomy-based instruction, muscle action cues, and helpful hands on adjustments to deepen your understanding of how a pose feels in your body. My approach blends together intentional movements, mindfulness techinques, energy-matching music, and positive mindset mantras to create the perfect balance of challenge, mindfulness, curiosity, and good vibes.
